HyVISION System announced that it held the inauguration ceremony of its first local factory in Bengaluru,
Karnataka, India on the 27th, with a site area of approximately 7,000sq. Ft. and a total floor area of
approximately 4,000sq. Ft.
HyVISION System established a local Indian corporation (HYVISION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED) in Karnataka,
India in March of last year, and broke ground on its local Indian factory this past February as part of a
strategic initiative to actively respond to customers' requests for new business expansion.
The newly completed Indian factory is purpose-built to support the entire manufacturing process
for finished smart devices, including process, assembly, and inspection automation equipment.
Starting next year, the company plans to produce and supply more than 100 types of key equipment and
facilities related to new mobile device manufacturing, targeting global EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service)
customers in India. To this end, approximately 50 processing units have been installed in the first phase,
and around 300 local employees have been hired. Currently, over 100 headquarters personnel are stationed
on-site to oversee overall factory operations and manufacturing process setup.
Furthermore, demand for EMS customer equipment is expected to grow rapidly each year over the next
three to four years, and the company plans to proceed swiftly with the construction of its second and third factories,
which are anticipated to become a new growth engine for HyVISION System.
HyVISION System CEO Choi Doo-won stated, "From the establishment of the Indian corporation in March of
last year to the completion of the local factory, we have pushed forward relentlessly, mobilizing all of our human
and material resources to respond to our customers' shifting global production strategies and to seize
new growth opportunities."

equipment, moving beyond our existing camera module business, will play a significant role in driving
